So, that's the photography side of things, what about the MARKETING??
We are in the process of offering our very first direct mail marketing campaign! We are getting ready to publish the very first issue of The Anderson Advantage! This is a totally new idea to our area! Our goals are connect the local community and provide a new avenue for businesses to showcase their offerings to the public and share some fun and interesting facts about our community along the way! In other communities, these advertising newsletters have been so successful in telling residents about participating businesses and reminding them to shop locally that these businesses have grown and increased sales!
Here's how it works- We collect your logo and ad information, take any photos you would like to include and design an ad for you. After you approve your ad, The Anderson Advantage will be printed and distributed through the U.S. Postal Service to ALL residents living here in Anderson county. That is nearly 10,000 homes!! The newsletter is a hefty 8.5" x 11", much larger than most publications families receive in their mailbox each day, full of color with high-quality printing, so it will stand out and get noticed! It will be mailed independently and will NOT be a part of or hidden inside another publication. Each issue will include some fun and interesting photos and facts about our community, which will make it interesting and fun for the reader to look through. We will also drop by and leave extra copies at your business for you to display.
The Anderson Advantage was started to be a quarterly publication, but with the overwhelming positive response we have gotten- we will going bi-monthly in 2012!! Publication issues will be: February- Valentine issue, April- Spring/Easter issue, June- summer issue, August- back-to-school issue, October- fall issue and December- special Thanksgiving/Christmas issue. Currently up to 12 pages, our goal is to be 16 pages for the next issue so we can include even more fun community information and some articles too!! You select the months in which you would like to run ads and we will include you for that issue. There will be ad sizes available ranging from an 1/8 page to a full page and back cover. Prices are very reasonable. If you advertise in 4 consecutive newsletters, the last month, we will include a free advitorial about your business which gives you an opportunity to tell local residents about yourself and the services you offer. We also offer discounts for full year advertising packages in all 6 issues! Spots fill up quickly- so get in touch with us soon!
