Warrior's Maizzie
Maizzie was born in 2001 and was one of the first horses to come to Three Feathers to start our curly horse program. She is a beautiful buckskin dun with all the dun markings including a dorsal stripe, shoulder shadows, leg bars, two-toned mane and dark points, etc. She comes from the Warrior line of curly horses who trace their roots back to Sitting Bull's horses who fought in the Battle of Little Big Horn. Maizzie is a proud horse and it shows in her photographs. She is frequently picked as a favorite by visitors to our farm and we have had several offers on her even though we have never offered her for sale, including an offer from a breeding farm in Germany. She has given us several beautiful foals and she has passed on her beauty and proud, confident spirit to each of them. We look forward to Maizzie being part of our program here at Three Feathers for many more years to come!
